In difficult times, we often underestimate our strength, willpower, and spirit of optimism. Justifiably, we tend to focus all of our attention to the uncomfortable situation we have at hand. We may weep, complain, shut down, or simply try to ignore it. I like to believe that no matter how harsh or brutal the situation we find ourselves in, there is always something bigger and stronger inside that will get us through it. The phrase "rock bottom" often has a negative connotation to it. However, it's also a beautiful place to start something new, something better.
